Barbara Leigh is a Certified Autism Specialist and a Licensed Professional Counselor in AL, GA, SC, OR & WA. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and has been chosen to present “Recognizing Undiagnosed Autism” at the upcoming Alabama Counseling Association’s state conference in November, 2024. Barbara has been professionally working with the autistic community since 1985, currently facilitates two international Autism support groups on BetterHelp.com and is proudly part of a neurodivergent family. She is passionate about advancing Autism through increased awareness, advocacy and by working with individuals, families, other professionals and the community at large. Her vision is to inspire and empower Autistics and allistics alike to be inclusive of Autistics and their strengths to make the world a more neuroaffirmative place and to improve each individual’s quality of life.
